To maintain plastic spray heads, follow these steps:
Clean the spray head regularly: Use a damp cloth to wipe the spray head clean. Make sure you remove any dirt or debris that has accumulated on the nozzle.
Soak the spray head: Fill a bowl with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap. Soak the spray head in the water for about 10 minutes to loosen any buildup inside the nozzle.
Scrub the spray head: After soaking, use a soft-bristled brush to scrub the spray head gently. Be careful not to damage the plastic or bend the nozzle. Pay extra attention to the small holes on the nozzle to ensure they are clear of any buildup.
Rinse the spray head: Rinse the spray head under running water to remove any soap residue and remaining debris.
Dry the spray head: Use a clean towel or cloth to pat the spray head dry. Make sure to remove any moisture from the nozzle to prevent mold or mildew from growing inside.
Reattach the spray head: Once the spray head is completely dry, reattach it to the bottle. Test the spray head to ensure it's working correctly.
By following these steps, you can ensure your plastic spray heads are well-maintained and working efficiently. Regular maintenance will extend the life of your spray heads and help prevent any clogs or malfunctions.
